As a Mum myself, I know first-hand how challenging it can be to even leave the house in the first couple of weeks after baby arrives, let alone get to a studio for baby photos. 

That is why I decided to offer a mobile photography service and eliminate that stress for you – you don’t need to go anywhere and can relax at home and comfortably watch on as I gently pose your baby and take their portraits. 

Having had two babies myself, I know it can be a very unsettling feeling to hand your new bundle of joy over to a stranger.

I would like to reassure you that in addition to my own ‘Mum’ experiences, I have undergone specialist newborn photography training, so your baby is in safe hands.


Newborns

Capturing those first few days of your brand new baby is incredibly precious. 

You want to remember all the little details forever -  the wrinkles & rolls, little fingers & toes and gorgeous little squishy lips.

Ideally babies need to be photographed within the first 10-14 days to achieve those lovely posed sleepy, curled up shots and I recommend getting in touch with me after your 12 week scan to book in. 

The booking date is very flexible to allow for your little one arriving earlier or later than expected but secures a date to allow for photos to be taken within that timeframe. 

Sessions are very much focussed on your newborn although a few parent / sibling shots can absolutely be incorporated into the session (which can take up to 3 hours).

Older Babies

Beautiful shots can also be achieved by waiting until baby is just that little bit older. 

In these sessions there is more opportunity for family involvement as there is less structured posing, which can take time to achieve with Newborns. 

By 4-6 weeks baby is far more awake so most shots will be with eyes open and posing is more relaxed.

At 3-6 months old, there is so much more interaction with baby enabling more opportunity for smiles and giggles to be captured.





Sitting Sessions

A great opportunity for some fun sitting portraits is around 6-9 months. 

Ideally baby is sitting unaided but not quite crawling (so they don’t disappear out of shot too quickly!).
